And so is Page 51.

Ivolga’s got… issues.

In case you’re not familiar with the term: boyars, historically, were the highest rank of feudal nobility in several Eastern European countries. Whereas regular nobles held their lands in fief, the boyars were the sole owners of their land and did not really owe any service for it.

In Bereg, there are twelve boyar families, and their relationship to the crown is… complicated 🙂
