Blender Internal vs Blender Cycles

This is a scene for the webcomic that isn’t happening anymore due to plot alterations. I originally created this scene a while ago (way before I knew what I was doing) in Blender Internal renderer. Now I’ve converted it into Cycles for the sake of adding it to my portfolio. What can I say? Yes, realistic lighting is way easier in Cycles. On the other hand, you can see way less with realistic lighting πŸ™‚

Either way, if you ask me, the whole point of low-light interior scenes is rendering them out to EXR and tonemapping artistically =) So that the shadows are deep but still there is “something” in there, and they’re tinted blue, that sort of thing.
